Blue & A Bomber Jacket

Prior to now, I have never owned a bomber jacket because I decided that I just wasn't cool enough to be seen in one, however, I recently picked up one, admittedly, having no idea that it was a bomber jacket (to be honest, it just reminded me of a jacket that Harry Styles owned so I was subconsciously drawn to it) and I have loved wearing it and experimenting with different ways of styling it.
In this blog post, I shall be showing you one way in which I have been wearing said bomber jacket, which is perfect for everyday wear. The bomber itself is a cream Borg collar bomber jacket from New Look and is a great alternative to your traditional bomber jacket. Its warm but doesn't drown you and, honestly, can be worn with most other items of clothing and it'll make the outfit more interesting. In fact, all the items in this blog post are so versatile and can be switched into different outfits depending on what kind of look you're going for.
I styled mine with a tight fit ribbed navy sweater tucked into a thick grey skirt, an item of clothing I've loved wearing throughout the colder months with a pair of tights and boots.
To tie the whole look together, I added a pair of navy boots to complement the sweater, another piece I have been obsessed with since the moment I got them because, I mean, why have a boring pair of boots when you can have blue boots!?
Take a look at the outfit below and let me know your thoughts.

Jacket: New Look
Sweater: New Look
Skirt: New Look
Boots: Dorothy Perkins
Watch: Fossil

What are your favourite items of clothing right now? <3

Love, Emily :) xx
