Vera Wang Spring 2017 Ready-To-Wear Collection // NYFW

Who doesn't love a bit of Vera Wang? She's a woman everyone needs in their life. She's probably the one of the most famous designers when it comes to wedding dresses, however, there wasn't a bridal gown in site at her Spring 2017 show and she proved she definitely knows how to design a collection.
When asked backstage how she would describe her collection, she answered with what will surely be music to the ears of millions: "I'll make it simple for you: black, black, black." It's the colour a lot of people tend to reach for when all else fails and it just goes with everything so, if you're on the dark side when it comes to clothing, this line will be right up your street.
The collection features an array of midriff-exposing tops, ribbed tanks and peplum shorts. As well as that, there were long skirts and bomber jackets thrown into the mix. Wang also included two things which have well and truly become trends this NYFW: off-the-shoulder and corsets.
Despite the fact that many designers opted for loud, neon-coloured collections this time around, Vera tried something a little different by creating a range based mainly on a colour that could never go out of fashion.

Take a little look below at my favourite pieces from this collection by Vera Wang! You're bound to love them too!

Which outfit made you go all heart eyes? Let me know! <3

Love, Emily :) xx
